How we got started
Castle Labor began small, helping neighbors move couches and boxes across town, and grew as word spread about crews who showed up on time and treated a studio apartment with the same care as a full house. Desmond has run the crews from the start and still trains every new mover personally.
The growth came from repeat calls, people who used the labor only service once for a rental truck and came back later for a full move, or the other way around.
How crews are trained
New movers spend their first days learning to wrap furniture properly, build a tight load in a truck, and handle a dolly on a ramp or a set of stairs. Nobody goes to a customer's home until they can do all three without being told twice.
Training happens on real furniture in a practice space before anyone touches a client's belongings, and it covers the specific problems that come up in Las Vegas moves, like apartment elevators and desert heat.
What we believe about a move
A move should not require the customer to lift anything heavier than a box of light items if they do not want to. That belief shapes how we staff a job, always erring toward one more mover than the bare minimum rather than one fewer.
We also believe in saying so plainly if a job is going to take longer than expected, rather than letting the customer figure it out on their own halfway through the day.
Working across the valley
From Summerlin to Henderson, from North Las Vegas down through Spring Valley and Enterprise, our crews cover the whole valley on a regular basis. That range means we know the apartment complexes, the HOA rules, and the traffic patterns that make each part of town a little different to move in.
Being local matters here more than people expect. A crew that knows which Summerlin village has strict gate hours, or which Henderson apartment always needs the freight elevator booked weeks out, saves a customer from a surprise on moving day.
What comes next
As the valley keeps growing, we keep adding movers and training them the same way, on real furniture, with someone experienced watching before they go on a paid job. The goal has never changed: show up on time, wrap what matters, and leave the new place looking like the crew was never there except for the furniture sitting exactly where you wanted it.
